Slow Food Urban San Diego participated in EarthFair 2012 in Balboa Park, which was attended by over 70,000 people. Our table was featured in the Fair Food Zone, which included a temporary vegetable garden and booths from other like-minded local community groups. We shared information about upcoming Slow Food Urban events and handed out heirloom tomato seeds from Baker Creek (http://rareseeds.com/) and sunflower seeds as part of the Great Sunflower Project.
